$10 regardless of how far people walk
Pledge 2:
$2 per mile regardless of how far people walk
Pledge 3:
$5 flat donation plus .50 per mile
Tell everything you know about these plans.
Dependent variable - (on the y axis) the amount of money raised because it depends on the number of miles walked
Independent variable - (on the x axis) miles because the miles don't change based on the amount of money raised
Homework: Fix the dependent and independent variables on your graph if you had them switched. Due tomorrow.

Divide 100 by the whole #. Multiply the part # by that result.
Grace's Method
Put into fraction (part/whole) = give a decimal. Multiply decimal by 100 to get %.
General Rule:
